Getting Started
God has given me inspiration, help, and guidance through my connection with Jesus Christ as my personal savior; I am a sinner in need of saving. I finally decided to own that role more intentionally, so I started reflecting on ideas to use this platform throughout my wild journey to actionably love God with all of my heart, mind, and soul.

1 Peter 4:8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cover a multitude of sins.
Matthew 6:33
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
Christian 101 : A Short Guide to Building a Long Lasting Relationship With God
1. Believe Jesus Christ as your savior; He is the Son of God, came to earth God in flesh died on the cross resurrected from death for our sins so that those that believe will be saved from their sins, and receive everlasting life.
2. Love God with all your heart and then love your neighbors as yourself.
3. Read The Holy Bible (KJV, NKJV, GNV, ETC) daily for faith.
4. Prayer (anytime, always). If struggling to say words start by saying thank you and humbly call unto Him , Admit your sin ask Him for Forgiveness. Know that He forgives you. Pray for others, your family, friends, people around the world in need. God still knows your heart and what you need when you need it even before you ask but you must acknowledge Him and always believe he hears you.

5. The Lords Prayer:
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us,
and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom and the power, and the glory,
forever and ever. Amen
6. Fruits of the Spirit:
Love.
Joy.
Peace.
Forbearance.
Kindness.
Goodness.
Faithfulness.
Gentleness.
Self-Control
7. The mind is renewed daily. Carry your cross. Trials and Tribulations will occur but through faith God will mature and guide you. He will fix your heart in the right place. It may be stressful and uncomfortable but His grace always wins. You receive the result of faith and grace. A relationship is formed as you acknowledge that all good things come from Him and He has always been there.
8. Waiting on the Lord. Always. He will return and be admonished to go into prayer before making decisions and also show boldness by having reckless faith because you also can move mountains with your faith that God has conditioned you to have.
9. Remain unspotted from the world. Don’t be uncomfortable being your new self. You are the light of the world. Without love and being a servant we are nothing. Repent against worldly lusts of the world. Daily strive to live in the Spirit versus the flesh. God always provides a way out of sin and never tempts us. We may be tested by our faith and tempted by the enemy (in any season , afflicted or prospering) but turn away from evil and Gods angels will minister to you with healing.
10. Fellowship - Worship, talk about God, spend time boasting about God, helping others, entertain strangers, doing Gods work uplift another. Visit Widows, look after orphans, serve the poor and uplift the broken. Church isn’t a physical place and denominations aren’t equal or replaceable with a personal relationship with God.
James 1:27- “Religion that our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”
Matthew 18:20- “For where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them”.
Acts 17:24- “God that made the world, and all things that are therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands.” Church can be anywhere fellowship is happening.
Matthew 1:23- "The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel (which means "God with us")”.
11. Praise Him, Holy Father Holy Spirit King Lord Jesus Christ! He is worthy. Contribute all you do to Him. Do it with all your heart. With Music, singing, work, etc do it unto the Lord and with love . Whether we live or die physically we go unto the Lord. God is love!!
12. Love more!! If you know love you know God! 1 John 4:7 - “Dear friends, let us love one another, for love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.”
13. Forgive- Forgive others and you will be forgiven. We love because God first loved us. Never speak against the Holy Spirit because it is the only unforgivable sin. It’s rejecting your own life’s eternity because by God we are saved. Our flesh may fail but His Spirit never will.
Luke 12:10 - “And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man, it will be forgiven him; but he who blasphemes against the Holy Spirit, it will not be forgiven him”.
14. You’ll be able to see the Hand of God in many things but remember we walk by faith not by sight so never think you know it all...only God knows the mysteries of Life and even then what we know He has allowed us to learn.
15. Freedom from sin and the world comes with responsibility. Rule your soul, be confident and have boldness. The enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy.
1 John 5:4 - For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, [even] our faith.
The Ten Commandments

Exodus 20:2-17-
-
“I am the Lord your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. You shall have no other gods before Me.
-
“You shall not make for yourself a carved image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth; you shall not bow down to them nor serve them. For I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children to the third and fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing mercy to thousands, to those who love Me and keep My Commandments.
-
“You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not hold him guiltless who takes His name in vain.
-
“Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is the Sabbath of the Lord your God. In it you shall do no work: you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your male servant, nor your female servant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger who is within your gates. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, and rested the seventh day. Therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and hallowed it.
-
“Honor your father and your mother, that your days may be long upon the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
-
“You shall not murder.
-
“You shall not commit adultery.
-
“You shall not steal.
-
“You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
-
“You shall not covet your neighbor's house; you shall not covet your neighbor's wife, nor his male servant, nor his female servant, nor his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is your neighbor's

Matthew 5:17
“Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.''

Romans 13:8-13
Love Fulfills the Law
8.) Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. 9.) The commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself.”
